Terms of Service
1. Quotes & Booking
All quotes are free and valid for 30 days.
A first site visit for quoting is provided free of charge. If the customer does not attend or is unavailable at the agreed time, or requests additional site visits for quoting, a call-out charge may apply.
A booking fee may be required to secure the work. Where a booking fee is charged, it will be deducted from the final invoice.
2. Customer Responsibilities
The customer must ensure that all rooms and work areas are cleared of furniture, personal belongings, and obstructions before the agreed start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to work.
Fresh Floors Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays, additional costs, or changes to the schedule caused by areas not being cleared.
3. Work Conditions & Liability
While every effort is made to protect skirting boards, beadings, door frames and other fixtures, some minor marking, scratching, or damage may occur during sanding and finishing. Fresh Floors Ltd accepts no liability for such incidental damage.
Customers are responsible for notifying Fresh Floors Ltd of any pre-existing damage, repairs, or structural issues that may affect the work.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payment may result in interest charges at the statutory rate.
5. Insurance
Fresh Floors Ltd carries Public Liability Insurance up to £5,000,000.
6. Unforeseen Work
If additional work is required that was not visible or specified at the time of quoting (e.g. hidden damage, structural issues), this will be discussed with the customer before proceeding. Additional costs will only be incurred with the customer’s agreement.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the agreed start date will result in loss of any booking fee paid.
Work may be rescheduled in cases of illness, adverse weather, or supply issues.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
